on the Sun Deck
The Executive Boardrooms are extremely luxurious offices situated on the magnificent Sun Deck, round a lounge area which you can use at all times. The Boardrooms can be rented for one to five years and they are ideal for running an office, receiving business clients at top level, and for holding meetings. There is a conference room with videoconference facilities nearby – as is the Lido for lunch or dinner, the Club Room for a luxury dinner and, of course, you have direct access to the best terrace in Rotterdam. The Sun Deck is encircled by the outdoor deck where you can enjoy the best views of the skyline of Rotterdam.
Service costs, telephone costs, Internet, cleaning, coffee and tea (self service), a contribution to the furnishings via Plan@office, two parking spaces and membership of the Captains’ Club are automatically included in the rent. Please read about more extra services in the accompanying overview.

The Business Boardrooms are luxury offices situated on the upper Boat Deck with a splendid view of the skyline of Rotterdam or the water. The Boardrooms can be rented for one to three years and they are ideal for running an office, receiving business clients and holding meetings. There is a conference room with videoconference facilities nearby, as is the Lido – for lunch or dinner, the Club Room for a luxury dinner and, of course, you have direct access to the best terrace in Rotterdam.

Networking on board De Rotterdam

All the Captains soon realise that they have become members of a highly-committed business community on board De Rotterdam. This starts straight away with a personal welcome lunch on board the ship. Furthermore, a number of distinctive gatherings are organised exclusively for the Captains each year. As a Captain you have the opportunity of creating a distinct business profile in a variety of ways. During your membership you also benefit from a number of advantages exclusively reserved for the Captains’ Club (for example, a discount on the services on board De Rotterdam).
What do we ask of the Captains?
Commitment to, and participation in, a unique “eye catcher” for the city of Rotterdam with international impact and allure;
Mutual feeling of solidarity with the ship;
Enterprising, commercial and socially-concerned partnership;
A membership contribution of € 1.958 per annum (excluding VAT) for a minimum period of two years.

With the Junior Captains’ Club we are connecting youngsters (the future) with the history of the ship De Rotterdam. When becoming a member, every Captain may assign a junior – a child, grandchild or otherwise – to the Junior Captains’ Club. These future Captains receive, among other things, a wonderful “De Rotterdam” present each year.
