What can’t you do! You can eat, drink, sleep, party, celebrate, visit festivals, organise events, marry, attend congresses and make a tour on board De Rotterdam.

Do I need a ticket to visit De Rotterdam?

No, you do not need a ticket to visit the ship. You can visit the restaurants, the bar and the terrace (deck) on board without a ticket. Once on board you can also book to see more of the ship. The conference facilities on board are reserved for parties and events. These are not open to the public.

What are the opening hours of De Rotterdam?

The ship is open to our guests 24 hours a day.

You can book a tour at the following times:

April - October
From 09.00 to 19.30
The ticket office is open until 18.30
The tour route closes at 19.30.

November - March
From 10.00 to 16.00
The ticket office is open until 15.00
The tour route closes at 16.00.

Restaurant opening hours:

Lido:

Monday to Friday: 06.30 - 24.00

Saterday and Sunday: 07.00 - 24.00

Club Room:

Monday to Friday: 18.00 - 22.00 (dinner)

Saterday: 11.00 - 16.00 (high tea) and 18.00 22.00 (dinner)

Sunday: 12.00 uur - 15.00 uur (brunch) and 18.00 - 22.00 uur (dinner)

Where can I apply to work on board De Rotterdam?

Would you like to work on board the city’s icon? There are various vacancies on board: catering, the hotel, administration, security, general and technical support services, etc.

Will the ship ever sail?

No, the engine room has been decommissioned. But you can visit this impressive area with a tour! Click here to book your tour directly.

Is the ship accessible for wheelchairs and people who have difficulty walking?

Yes, as many of the public areas as possible have access for wheelchairs and the disabled, including by means of lifts. Unfortunately, the tour routes are not accessible.

May I bring my dog (or other pet) on board with me?

Unfortunately your dog or other pets are not permitted on board. The only exception applies to guide dogs for the blind, they are allowed on board.

Until what time is breakfast served?

We serve breakfast from Monday to Friday between 06.30 and 10.00. In the weekend you are welcome between 07.00 and 09.00 or between 09.00 and 10.00. You don’t have to be a hotel guest to have breakfast on board. It is not possible to book in advance.

Where can I have lunch?

You can have lunch in the Lido every day from 12.00 noon.

Can I have a drink on board?

You can enjoy a drink in the Ocean Bar (open daily from 10.00 to 01.00) or in the Lido (from 15.30 and weekends from 10.00). Weather permitting the Lido terrace is also open.

Where can I dine?

You can dine in the Lido (from 18.00 - 20.30 or from 20.30) or in the Club Room (from 18.00). We recommend you make a reservation by calling +31 (0)10 – 297 30 97.

Can I make a dinner reservation for a group?

In both the Lido and the Club Room you can make a reservation for up to 30 people. We have special menus for groups of eight people or more.

Are there parking facilities near De Rotterdam?

Yes, there is a (paid) car park next to the ship with almost 600 parking spaces.

Parking fares are:
€ 3.00 per hour
€ 15.00 per day (24 hours)
