GENUINE ROTTERDAM
The Lido, situated on the Promenade Deck overlooking the quay and the Euromast, is characterised by its many windows and the sense of freedom that you feel when entering this dazzling room. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner here, but also Sunday Brunch or High Tea. All these activities merge with each other throughout the day, creating a lively atmosphere.
The Lido has its own deck, the largest in Rotterdam. It is a delight to relax here, enjoy the skyline of Rotterdam while dabbling your feet in the cool water of the swimming pool that has been preserved on this outdoor deck. We serve your favourite cocktail here! The Lido is genuine: genuine Rotterdam with genuine food.
The Lido used to be called the Café de la Paix: named after the Parisian café of the same name on the “Place de l’Opéra”. This was the place to be for partygoers. During the refurbishment in 1968 the Café disappeared making way for the Lido, adjacent to the outdoor deck with open-air swimming pool. Little remains of the original Lido and so, now, out of respect for history, we have chosen a contemporary design for this phenomenal spot.

STYLISH AUTHENTICITY
The Club Room is a wonderful place on board for dining in style. The traditional culinary masterpieces created by the chefs in the fifties and sixties, make a comeback in a contemporary setting, in the hands of our new taste trendsetters. You can see how your dishes are prepared in the open-plan kitchen and also admire the display as they are prepared and served at your table.
The intimate atmosphere of the Club Room is particularly perceptible. This also used to be called the “living room” on board. Many of the original works of art still hang here and are a sight for sore eyes, that is – until the food arrives! You might be seated at the “Captains Table” and enjoy a special evening.

Bars
NOSTALGIC PLEASURE
This is where the days of the cruises are brought back to life. Are you in search of relaxation? Would you like to enjoy a delicious cocktail, a good glass of wine or a fine cognac? The Ocean Bar is the number one bar on board De Rotterdam.
The original design has been preserved: the bar is in the form of a wave and the ceiling is covered with huge fish scales. And the grand piano of 50 years ago is still here, would you care to play? In addition to the appetising drinks we also serve snacks here.

Drink a refreshing beer or, on the contrary, a superior wine on the magnificent afterdeck of De Rotterdam, and enjoy the breeze from the Nieuwe Maas and the views of the skyline. The Lido terrace also has an outdoor bar and, when the weather is fine, there is no better place to be.
