At the start of construction this used to be the Café de la Paix. It was named after the Parisian café with the same name located at Place de Opera. It was the place to be among partying guests. During renovation back in 1968 the Café disappeared making room for Lido, which is connected to the outer deck with the outdoor swimming pool. Little of the original Lido was saved so we granted this phenomenal spot a contemporary purpose, bearing history in mind.

Lido, which is located at the Promenade deck overlooking the quay and the Euromast, is typified by its many windows and free sensation you get once you enter this marvellous area. This is where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served all day creating a lively atmosphere.

Lido has its own terrace; in fact it is the largest terrace of Rotterdam and a lovely place for having a good time; marvel at Rotterdam’s skyline while submerging your feet into the cool water of the swimming pool. Enjoy your favourite cocktail. Lido is typically Rotterdam offering you deliciously fresh food.
